LARC Baseball/Softball
2008 Overview
We have a fun opportunity to provide our neighborhood boys and girls with exposure to baseball/softball. Our philosophy:

- Open Leagues are for boys and girls.
- Fundamental Leagues (T-Ball, Machine Pitch and 4-Pitch) are played primarily at Lynnhurst.
- City-Wide Leagues (U11, U13 and U15) are played primarily in south
Minneapolis . Coaches will determine if Rec or Classic (advanced play) is most appropriate for their team.
Registration (at Lynnhurst)
* Wed 3/12 6:30-8:00 Sat 3/15 10:00-noon Tue 3/18 6:30-8:00
* Additional registrations will be accepted at Lynnhurst through 3/29.
* Fees are $30 for Fundamental Leagues and $60 for City-Wide Leagues.
Rosters
* Rosters will be finalized with coaches the week of 3/30.
* Fundamental League rosters will be capped at 10.
* City-Wide rosters will generally be capped at 13.

* Weekday games are in the early evening, and weekend games are in the morning or early afternoon.
Practice
Coaches will determine their practice schedule. Weather permiting, practices will likely begin a few weeks before the first game. Practice time is built into the game nights for T-Ball.
Uniforms
* Fundamental players will receive a T-Shirt and cap.
* City-Wide players will receive a jersey, cap and socks. They will also need to have gray pants and a belt to match their uniform – these will be sold at Lynnhurst if you need them.
