The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board offers a Citywide Youth Basketball Program for boys and girls ages 8 to 18 from January to mid-March. Pre Season Rosters due to Park Directors December 6, 2007
11U- Open & Girls
• Players cannot turn 12 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/98 to 9/1/96
• Plus 5th graders during the 2007-08 school year with a birth date between 6/1/96 and 8/31/96
• Player must be at least 8 years old by 9/1/07 to be eligible for an up wavier to this division
• Day of Play: Saturday
12U-Open
• Players cannot turn 13 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/96 to 9/1/95
• Plus 6th graders during the 2007-08 school year with a birth date between 6/1/95 and 8/31/95
• Player must be at least 10 years old by 9/1/07 to be eligible for an up wavier to this division
• Day of Play: Saturday
13U-Open & Girls
• Players cannot turn 14 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/95 to 9/1/94
• Plus 7th graders during the 2007-08 school year with a birth date between 6/1/94 and 8/31/94
• Player must be at least 11 years old by 9/1/07 to be eligible for an up wavier to this division
• Girls’ Day of Play: Saturday
• Open Days of Play: Tuesday, Thursday and/or Saturday
14U-Open
• Players cannot turn 15 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/94 to 9/1/93
• Plus 8th graders during the 2007-08 school year with a birth date between 6/1/93 and 8/31/93
• Player must be at least 12 years old by 9/1/07 to be eligible for an up wavier to this division
• Days of Play: Monday and Thursday
16U-Open & Girls
• Players cannot turn 17 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/93 to 9/1/91
• Plus 10th graders during the 2007-08 school year with a birth date between 6/1/91 and 8/31/91
• No Up Waivers to this division
• Days of Play: Monday and Thursday
18U-Open & Girls
• Players cannot turn 19 until September 1, 2008 – Birthdates: 9/1/91 to 9/1/89
• 18U players must provide proof of school enrollment in addition to proof of age
• No Up Waivers to this age division
• Day of Play: Wednesday
